The Flawless Feet Medical Pedicure

What’s Included

Your podiatrist will address your feet in their entirety, beginning with the safe and painless removal of dead skin, callus and corns. Nails are correctly trimmed, shaped, buffed and rehydrated — and checked to ensure they are free from any ingrown toenail concerns.

A detoxifying scrub revitalises the skin, leaving it hydrated and radiant. We then use a collagen-rich hydrating massage oil to soothe tension and improve circulation. To finish, nails can be painted in your choice of colour using our water-permeable, “no nasties” polish — completely optional.

Every treatment is performed in a fully sterile clinical environment, using hospital-grade hygiene protocols — something a nail salon simply cannot offer.

Who Is It For?

If you regularly visit a nail bar, wear nail polish, or simply want your feet to feel and look their best — the Flawless Feet Medical Pedicure is for you. It’s also ideal for patients managing fungal nail infections, skin conditions, diabetes, or circulation concerns who want clinical care delivered with a luxury experience.

Patients who have had KeryFlex nail restoration can also combine it with a Flawless Feet treatment for a complete cosmetic foot care experience in one visit.

Medical Pedicure vs Nail Salon

A standard nail salon pedicure is a cosmetic service. A Flawless Feet Medical Pedicure is clinical care with a luxury finish. Here’s the difference:

• Performed by an AHPRA-registered podiatrist, not a beauty technician
• Every treatment is conducted in a fully sterile clinical environment using hospital-grade hygiene protocols
• Underlying nail and skin conditions are identified and addressed — not worked around
• Safe for patients with diabetes, circulation concerns or skin and nail conditions
• Private health fund rebates may apply

Before Your Appointment

Please ensure any gel polish has been removed from your toenails before your visit, and wear loose-fitting clothing from the knee down.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a medical pedicure and a regular pedicure?
A medical pedicure is performed by an AHPRA-registered podiatrist in a fully sterile clinical environment. Unlike a nail salon, your podiatrist can identify and treat underlying nail and skin conditions, assess for early signs of ingrown toenails, fungal infections and circulation concerns — and address them as part of your treatment. The result is feet that look beautiful and are genuinely healthy. Read our full guide on the difference between a medical pedicure and a nail salon.

Is a medical pedicure covered by private health insurance?
Your Flawless Feet Medical Pedicure may attract a rebate through your private health insurance if your cover includes podiatry extras. We offer HICAPS on-the-spot claiming at our Balgowlah clinic — no paperwork, no waiting.

Do I need to remove gel polish before my appointment?
Yes. Please ensure any gel polish has been removed from your toenails before your visit. Standard nail polish does not need to be removed beforehand.

Can I have a medical pedicure if I have a fungal nail infection?
Yes — in fact a medical pedicure is an excellent option for patients with fungal nail infections. Your podiatrist will assess the condition and can incorporate appropriate clinical management alongside the cosmetic treatment.

Can I have a medical pedicure if I have diabetes?
Yes, and it is particularly recommended. Diabetic patients benefit significantly from professional podiatry foot care. Your podiatrist will take extra care to assess circulation, skin integrity and nail health as part of your treatment. Learn more about our diabetic foot assessments.

Can I combine a medical pedicure with KeryFlex nail restoration?
Yes. KeryFlex nail restoration is compatible with our Flawless Feet Medical Pedicure for patients who want a complete cosmetic foot treatment in one visit — restoring the appearance of damaged nails alongside a full clinical pedicure.
